Hunterdon County is a community of resilience, giving, fellowship, and beauty. As such, we need to support all of our Hunterdon County residents - especially our most vulnerable families and children. Family Promise of Hunterdon County is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to advocate for homeless families and individuals and guide them to self-sufficiency and permanent housing by mobilizing the community to provide compassionate care, services, and professional support. It's that last part that is so very important. For more than 30 years, Family Promise of Hunterdon County (FPHC) has worked with area houses of worship to shelter homeless families and individuals while FPHC works with the family or individual by day to improve their living circumstances and overall quality of life through counseling, workshops, training, and support.
"I don't know where I would be without the help of Family Promise," says Lori, a former guest of our shelter program now living in stable, permanent housing with her children. They helped me with everything I needed to get my life in order and now I have a full-time job and I live without the insecurities I once faced." - Linda (former shelter guest)
Please consider a gift of any size to support the mission of FPHC and vulnerable families throughout Hunterdon County. Your support will go directly toward helping to prevent homelessness, and when homelessness has already occurred, it will support those in our shelter program to receive the help and supports needed to change their trajectory, thrive, and succeed.
