Hunterdon Promises… Because Everyone Deserves a Safe Place to Call Home

We have neighbors facing homelessness and housing instabilit. A missed paycheck, unexpected expense, rent increase or family crisis can quickly turn a stable situation into a housing emergency.

For more than 36 years, Family Promise of Hunterdon County has been here to help our neighbors through those moments. From emergency rental assistance and eviction prevention to transitional housing, supportive services and street outreach, we provide practical help when people need it most and work alongside them toward lasting stability.

Our community has already shown up. In 2026, $75,912 has already been given to Family Promise, putting us 51% of the way toward our $150,000 year-end goal. Now we're asking more of our community to join them.
